The importance of sustainability and care for the environment are driving legislative measures aimed at promoting the reuse of packaging, which is motivating the increasing manufacture of reusable packaging. Although this practice is appropriate when carried out in a hygienic and controlled manner at the point of sale through closed systems, its incorrect execution or the use of unsuitable packaging can have negative repercussions on the microbiological quality and therefore on the safety of cosmetic products.
Cosmetic industry magazine publishes, in its latest issue, an article by Laura Rubio, head of the Stability Department at Dr. Goya Analysis, on the risks of reusing cosmetic packaging.
