On September 17 and 18, FARMAFORUM 2025 took place in Madrid, in Hall 9 of IFEMA, and Dr. Goya Análisis attended once again as an exhibitor and speaker.

This is the most important event in the pharmaceutical industry in Spain, with a theme that extends and shares synergies with the biotechnology and cosmetics industries, with its special areas Health&Research Forum, Cosméticaforum, Biotechforum, Nutraforum, Apisforum, Vetforum, Farmacovigilanciaforum, Logisticforum, and Cannabisforum.

Ramón Goya Gato, executive director of the laboratory, moderated the round table discussion “Challenges and opportunities in clinical research on medical devices: a strategic vision from key players,” which addressed the transformation of clinical evaluation of medical devices in an increasingly regulated, competitive, and patient-oriented environment. Montse Ortega Doménech, technical director of the Clinical Evaluations department at Dr. Goya análisis, also participated in the round table.

In addition, Mª Luisa Güerri Santos, director of Microbiology, was a speaker at Cosmeticaforum,
giving a talk on “Rapid microbiology validation in cosmetics quality control,” a method that represents a key advance in cosmetics quality control, allowing for more efficient and accurate detection of microbiological contaminants in raw materials and finished products. Compared to traditional methods, these technologies offer reduced response times, greater sensitivity, and automation capabilities, which translates into faster decisions and improved product safety.
